Camp Fleischmann is More Than Camping

You will build character, develop teamwork skills, and grow as a leader.

Located over the buried north end of the Sierra Nevada and the southernmost end of the Cascade Mountains near Mount Lassen Volcanic Park in Northern California, Camp Fleischmann offers a full Scouting program, outdoor adventure, and plenty of fun. It sits on the shore of Fleischmann Lake, a forest oasis fed by a hot spring, making water temperatures perfect for summer day swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and more.

ACTION FOR EVERYONE

Experience a variety of activities, from aquatics to shooting sports to environmental studies to climbing. The Scout Handbook comes alive at our commissioner sites where you learn essential camping and everyday life skills. High Adventure additions offer something new and challenging for everyone.

MIXING OLD & NEW

Camp Fleischmann has been serving Scouts since 1943. Scouts who attended camp decades ago still come back to visit and feel the nostalgia of campfires, pine trees, adventure, and good friends. Now, Scouters make it a priority to come to camp year after year, and we’re making sure each year brings new activities and experiences! Our programs have recently been strengthened by the addition of all-girl Scout troops who experienced Camp Fleischmann for the first time in 2019.

Camp is a truly unique experience because you feel the magic that comes with tradition and the excitement of new opportunities. Join us at camp in 2021!
