Scouts and Scouters, it’s time for some winter camping and competition in the snow. Join us in the annual “Klondike Derby” which is named for a region in Alaska where gold was discovered in 1896. It became a race to be the first ones there to stake a claim. Come prepared to survive the elements, race and compete in cold-weather events.

Register on-line by January 29th so that we can prepare for the right number of Scouts and leaders.

Included below is a list of equipment each patrol will need to bring to participate in the events. So … patrols, start preparing now! Teach, learn and relearn the skills for each event. This will increase the unity in your patrols and enhance Scouting skills and confidence as a team and as individuals.
