Make camp a success by following these simple steps:

1. Pick a week

2. Determine the Scouts and leaders coming and the associated fees

3. Register and reserve your spot with $400 deposit and payments according to fee schedule

4. Review and schedule Merit Badge sessions (sign up is available after May 15 and when Troop has paid fees in full)

5. Be sure all forms are filled out, including medical health forms and completed medical physicals for Scouts and leaders

6. Review refund policy

We will have Maverick provisional troops available, but are open to all Troops. Maverick provisional Troops are special Troops available for youth attending separate from their home Troops. For more information and to register as a Maverick click here.

All camp fees are due in full 2 weeks before arrival.

And don't forget your incoming Webelos! Webelos and new Scouts that register in your Troop after April 1, 2020 will be allowed to pay the original April 1 fee.


Reserving a Campsite/Deposit

Reserve your spot before campsites fill up!

Campsites cannot be guaranteed as they are assigned based on the number of participants the Troop anticipates bringing to camp. Campsites are filled based on a combination of factors, including: the site the Troop had the prior year, first come/first served, and the number of committed participants the Troop will be bringing to camp.

A $400.00 deposit is required to hold your reservation. Reservation deposit fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and will be credited to the Troop’s total camping fee for their week at camp. Fees are also used for this summer only and are not transferable to future summers.

Mavericks register at the Maverick link as an individual and do not pay the deposit.

Each week of camp must have a minimum of 125 campers by April 1, 2020 for that respective week to take place.  If the minimum is not met, the Troop will be asked to transfer to another week. Maximum for each week of camp is 250.

Priority registration is given until September 1, 2019 to Troops that attended in the 2019 season for the same campsite and week they had in 2019.

All payments should be made using your Doubleknot login. We manage camp accounts by Troop # and do not manage individual Scout payment plans within a troop. Please be sure to list each and every person attending camp on the roster you bring to camp. This includes adults attending for one or more days.



Mavericks are individual Scouts that would like to attend camp without their Troop. If you have a Scout or Scouts who are unable to attend summer camp with your troop, don’t let them miss the opportunity!

Only 2 Maverick Scouts per Troop are allowed to attend each week, on weeks 4 and 5.  1 Adult may attend with a Maverick, paying the Adult fee. If more than 2 Scouts from a home Troop wish to attend Maverick week, the special Troop will be required to pair up with another small campsite Troop to provide the appropriate leadership.


Merit Badges

The Merit Badge schedules will open for sign ups May 15 and after your Troop has paid their balance dues in full. It will turn off one week before your camp week starts.

Refund Policy

Full refund before April 1, 2020, less non-refundable deposit
50%refund April 1 to April 30, 2020, less non-refundable deposit
25%refund May 1 to May 31, 2020, less non-refundable deposit
No refund after June 1, 2020

Cancellation refunds must be in writing and submitted to Nevada Area Council office before June 1.

Refunds are given for hardship and emergencies. Camp fees are transferable toward another Scouts reservation. No Show Camp Fees are Non-Refundable. NO EXCEPTIONS! No refunds will be given for Scouts sent home by the Troop or camp management who do not follow the Scout Oath and Law and/or fail to notify camp management of the situation.


What to expect at Camp

Camp Fleischmann provides central dining hall meals, limited campsite equipment, program equipment and campsites. You provide your gear, tent and adventurous attitude and we’ll get the rest. For more information on what scouts and leader need to bring check out our checklists here.
